How to play La Vie En Rose on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play La Vie En Rose on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

"La vie en rose" was written and recorded by French singer Édith Piaf, also known as La Môme or The Little Sparrow. On its release in 1947, its themes of hope and joy appealed to the post-World War II world and it launched Piaf's career internationally. The title translates literally to "Life in Pink" but a closer translation of the meaning would be "Life in a rosy hue". While "La vie en rose" became a signature song for Piaf, it has been successfully covered by countless others including Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Louis Armstrong and Grace Jones.
