How to play God Save the Queen on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play God Save the Queen on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

"God Save the Queen" (or "God Save the King", depending on the reigning monarch) is the royal anthem and de facto national anthem of the United Kingdom, and one of two national anthems used in New Zealand. In the United States, the same melody is used for the patriotic song "America (My Country, 'Tis Of Thee)". It also forms the basis for the national anthem of Liechtenstein, "Oben am jungen Rhein", and the royal anthem of Norway, "Kongesangen". In Commonwealth countries such as Australia and Canada, "God Save the Queen" serves as the Royal Anthem and is played when the monarch is present. While the song's original composer is unknown, it dates back to at least the 18th century.
