How to play the Super Mario Bros. theme on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play the Super Mario Bros. theme on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

First heard in Nintendo’s Super Mario Bros. (1985) and also known as the "Ground Theme" or "Overworld Theme", this iconic melody has become one of the most recognized video game themes in history.

Composer Koji Kondo originally wrote the song at a slower pace, but when he saw the game in action he realized he would need to speed it up. It was the second song he composed for Super Mario Brothers, after the Underwater Theme.
