How to play Star Wars Force Theme on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play Star Wars Force Theme on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

The Force Theme is a composition by John Williams that recurs throughout the soundtracks of the Star Wars saga. Originally intended to be Han Solo's musical theme, it came to be associated with the Force instead. The Force Theme is first heard in A New Hope when Princess Leia gives R2-D2 the plans for the Death Star, but it is best known for a later scene in which Luke Skywalker watches the twin suns of Tatooine setting, hence the other name for this musical cue: Binary Sunset.

The Force Theme can be heard in all the main Star Wars films: A New Hope (1977), The Empire Strikes Back (1980), Return of the Jedi (1983), The Phantom Menace (1999), Attack of the Clones (2002), Revenge of the Sith (2005), The Force Awakens (2015), The Last Jedi (2017) and The Rise of Skywalker (2019).
