How to play Savage Love on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play Savage Love by Jason Derulo on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

Released in 2020, Jason Derulo's song Savage Love came under fire for sampling Jawsh 685's "Laxed – Siren Beat" without permission or credit. After the two artists came to an agreement, "Laxed – Siren Beat" was added to the song's title and Jawsh 685 received credit as an artist and producer.

New Zealand producer Jawsh 685 composed the original instrumental "one day after school" in about 4 hours. The music is inspired by his Samoan and Cook Island heritage and by "siren jam" music, which is designed to be played through siren speakers. On TikTok, it became the soundtrack for "Culture Dance" videos in which users wore traditional costumes. In October 2020, a remix was released featuring K-pop band BTS (방탄소년단).
