How to play Dreams on Saxophone

On this page, we'll be learning how to play Dreams by Fleetwood Mac on Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone, Baritone Saxophone or Soprano Saxophone!

Released in 1977, Dreams was one of several hits to emerge from Rumours, Fleetwood Mac's most acclaimed album. Amid the album's infamously troubled production – plagued with relationship breakdowns and drug use – vocalist Stevie Nicks wrote the song "in about 10 minutes", and guitarist/vocalist Lindsey Buckingham helped fashion the completed song. Nicks and Buckingham's tempestuous relationship and eventual split contributed to Rumours becoming "one of the ultimate heartbreak soundtracks".

A number one single on its release, Dreams reentered the charts in October 2020 thanks to a viral TikTok video featuring Nathan Apodaca skateboarding while lip syncing to the song and drinking Ocean Spray Cran-Raspberry Juice. But this wasn't the first time the song had gone viral in recent years: it also hit the charts in 2018 after a meme that paired the song with a college dance routine was viewed 6 million times.
